On February 10, the Ministry of Education released the list of the construction projects of the national and provincial first-class undergraduate majors in 2020. 6 majors of QNU have been selected, among which the major of Human Geography & Urban-rural Planning is selected as the national first-class undergraduate major, 5 others including International Economics and Trade, Social Sports Guidance and Management, History, Biological Sciences, and Materials Chemistry are selected as the provincial first-class undergraduate majors.
Since the Ministry of Education launched the Double 10,000 Initiative for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors in 2019, 17 majors of QNU have been selected as the construction projects of first-class undergraduate majors, among which 2 are on the national level.
